We got up way too early in Tortola, only to discover that most of the shops didn’t open until 9 or 10. After walking around in the Caribbean heat for a while, we said “screw it” and headed back to the Norwegian Luna.
But I kept thinking about the winding roads leading up into the mountains, the colorful houses, and the scenery around us and knew I wanted to make that the one piece I completed before I disembarked. And so I spent most of the next day at sea painting this watercolor on the ship.
