While putting paint to paper, I had flashbacks of growing up in Alabama and taking backroads to get home from Samson after eating lunch at the local Sunday buffet my family would sometimes hit up after church. There really isn’t a deep story behind this one. I mostly wanted to figure out how to paint raindrops on a windshield. I wasn’t totally sure if the raindrops would work, but I had fun experimenting with them, and somehow the practice piece turned into a finished painting.
